But what folks don’t always talk about is his family, and especially his sister Gloria. Gloria, she was always there for Henry, lookin’ out for him like an older sister does. But I reckon, no matter how many gold medals or championships you win, losing a sister is one of the hardest things a person can go through.
On the day Gloria passed, Henry shared the sad news on social media, the way folks do these days. He didn’t just talk about her battle with cancer, though, he talked about the love they shared. Said she was more than just a sister, she was a part of him. A piece of his heart. He said he’d never seen anybody fight for their life like her. That right there shows you how much she meant to him. She wasn’t just some relative; she was his rock, his guide, his friend.
