Alright, so I figured I’d give this cfbordle thing a go today. Heard some folks talking about it, you know, another one of those daily puzzle things, but Codeforces themed. Sounded kinda neat, a bit different from just guessing words.
So, I pulled it up. First thing I noticed was the layout, pretty simple, which is good. No messing around. Today’s challenge looked like guessing a Codeforces handle based on the shape of their rating graph. Man, talk about a specific kind of memory test.
My first few tries? Way off. Just throwing out names I remembered, hoping one would stick. That didn’t work so well. The graph had this specific pattern, like a couple of sharp jumps and then a bit of a plateau. It felt familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it.
Digging In
I started thinking harder. Who had a history like that? You see so many graphs over time, they kinda blur together. Was it someone super famous? Or maybe someone who popped off in a few specific contests?

Getting There
Then, it clicked. I remembered seeing a post or a comment somewhere about a specific user’s climb. Typed in the handle, hit enter, and bam! Got it right. Felt pretty good, gotta say. A little dopamine hit for the day.
It’s a decent little puzzle, this cfbordle. Makes you dredge up some specific Codeforces knowledge. Not sure I’ll do it every day, depends on how busy things get. Life’s been throwing curveballs lately, trying to juggle work projects and some personal stuff, finding time for these little brain teasers is a bit of a luxury.
But yeah, today’s cfbordle? Checked that box. A small victory, but I’ll take it. It was a fun little distraction for a bit.
