So, you wanna know how many GBs this new NCAA 25 game is, huh? Well, let me tell ya, the size of the game ain’t too small, but it ain’t too big either. The one for PS5 is ’round 27 GB, and if you’re playin’ it on an Xbox Series X or S, that one’s a little bigger, comin’ in at 32.4 GB. Now, mind ya, that’s just the size when the game first comes out.
Now, I ain’t no tech expert, but from what I hear, once they start throwin’ in updates and patches to fix up bugs and such, that file size could get even bigger. Ya know how these games go, they always find somethin’ to fix after launch, so the game size grows with time. I reckon this ain’t much different from other big games, where the updates pile on as the game goes on.
When you get to playin’, you’ll notice that it’s got all them fancy college football features, just like the real deal, except you’re sittin’ on your couch instead of out there on the field. The game’s set to give ya that fast-paced action, just like watchin’ the real games, but without all that running around. They sure did put a lot of work into this one, from what folks are sayin’.
But I should tell ya, this game ain’t comin’ out for older consoles like the PS4 or Xbox One, no sir. It’s only for them new consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. That’s somethin’ to keep in mind if you were hopin’ to play on an old console. I know a few folks who were hopin’ for a PC version too, but that ain’t happenin’ neither, least not at launch anyway.
There was a bit of early access for folks who forked out that $100 for the deluxe edition. I reckon if you had that kinda cash to spare, you’d be playin’ it a bit earlier than the rest of us, but for most of us, it ain’t out ’til August 16th. By then, there’ll be more folks online and probably a whole bunch of folks online already, ’cause over 700,000 fans already signed up before the game’s out!
So, long story short, if you’re wonderin’ how many GBs this NCAA 25 game takes up, it’s 27 GB for PS5 and 32.4 GB for Xbox. But hold on tight, ‘cause that might grow a bit once they start doin’ all them updates. All in all, it’s gonna be a big game, but not too big to fit on your system, at least not yet.
